We have a saying, “Love came down at Christmas.”  This is so very true.  It took more love than we can ever comprehend for the Son of God to leave His throne next to His Father and leave His divinity and become a fleshly man.  It took even more love since He knew His Father would have to turn away from Him as He hung on the cross taking on the sin of mankind for His Father cannot be in the presence of sin.  For this reason, I put a heart in my manger scene to remind me of this immense love. Not only does this heart represent the love of God but also the love I have for Him.  I give Him my heart.  Unfortunately, I am unable to insert a photo into this free blog.
